ShipIntel is a modularized software application for shipping professionals where you can access some basic functionality and invite in as many colleagues as you want for free. You can subscribe to the paid modules to expand the value of your subscription. Further, if you choose to upgrade, you and your team will also access the features in the mobile app.

Our Vessel lists is a way to group vessels together. You can create your own vessel lists and view them on the map or create pre-calculations from them in our "precalc and compare" module. Further, you can get notified when vessels arrive or depart at ports or update their destination.

Create a vessel list

1) Start by selecting the "Vessel lists" module in the menu to the left. Then press the "+ create a vessel list" button in the upper right corner to add a new list. Fill in your preferred name and click "done" to save it.

2) After creating a vessel list you would need to add vessels to the list. This is easily done by clicking on the "add vessels" button in the upper right corner. Search for vessels by name, MMSI, or IMO.

You can also find vessels to add by pressing "Filters".

Here you can choose Segment, Sub Segment, and if you have added it in the "Technical Vessel Details" - Variation. You can further filter your vessel search under vessel dimensions.

You can add one or more vessels at the same time. Use the "add vessels" button to add vessels to your vessel list:

3) After adding your preferred vessels to your vessel list you have several options to explore:

Technical details: Get technical details of vessels in the vessel list.

AIS operations: Get information about the vessel's current voyage and live AIS status.

Port visit history: Get a full overview of vessel voyage history. When and where the vessel has been.

Documents: add personal documents for you and your team associated with vessels in the vessel lists.

4) Add Notifications: One option in the vessel list module is to receive notifications for vessels added to your list. If you want notification when the vessels in your lists arrive or depart from a port or when they set a destination to a specific port with an ETA (and later changes), you can subscribe for notifications.

5) View in map: Click the "View in map" button in the upper right corner to view all vessels in your list on the map. You can also view the vessels in the map by clicking on vessels and selecting 'lists'.

6) Add layers of information: Add the vessel lists as layers on your map together with other layers of information. You can add war zones, national economic zones, ECA zones, canals, and ice layers and find whether the vessels are trading in specific regions.
