ShipIntel's Vessel List feature offers a robust way to organize and monitor groups of vessels. Whether you need to track vessels based on technical specifications, ownership, trading patterns, ports you serve or current positions, this feature provides an intuitive interface and convenient way to manage maritime assets, portfolio, and more efficiently. You can create as many vessel lists as you want.
The Vessel List feature is available for both ShipIntel Essentials and ShipIntel Pre-fix.

Vessel Lists
You can find and manage your lists from the vessel-list center from the left-hand menu.
Navigate to the left-hand menu and click on "Vessel lists".
This will show your existing vessel list.
The list shows
The name of the list
Who made the list
The number of vessels in each list
When the list was last updated.
To view, edit, or update an existing vessel list, click on the list you want to manage from the vessel list table.
Creating a Vessel List
1) Accessing the Vessel List Feature
Navigate to the left-hand menu and click on "Vessel lists".
In the upper right corner, click the "+ create a vessel list" button.
Enter a preferred name for your list and click "done" to save it.
2) Adding Vessels to Your List
You can add vessel to the list in several different ways
Bulk Adding: Copy and paste a list of IMOs directly into the list.
Search and Filter: Click on "Search Vessels" to find vessels by name, MMSI, or IMO. Apply filters to narrow down results by segment, subsegment, variation, or smart search criteria.
Select vessels from the search results and click on "Add vessels" to add them to your list.
3) Add additional vessels later on
You can add vessels to the list at any given time. To add new vessels to an existing vessel list, navigate to the vessel list you want to update and:
Click on "Add vessels" in the top-right corner, or
Click on the three dots, to bulk upload additional vessels.

Get Historical AIS data for a full overview of where each vessel has traded in the past. This includes detailed records of historical port calls.

Attach and manage documents related to each vessel for easy reference and sharing with your team.
Notifications
Set up notifications to be alerted when vessels enter or leave ports, change their destination, or match new criteria in your dynamic searches.
Note: In ShipIntel, you can activate notifications for different types of vessel and port events. The notifications allow you to stay updated with your team's activities as well as activities of vessels and ports that you follow.

Map Integration
By clicking on the "View in map" button in the upper right-hand corner of you list, you can:
View vessels on the map with their live positions highlighted for easy visibility.
Hover over a vessel in the list or on the map to get a quick snippet of additional information.
Add layers of information to your map, such as war zones, national economic zones, ECA zones, canals, ice layers, and more to see where vessels are trading in specific regions.
