ShipIntel is a modularized software application for shipping professionals where you can access some basic functionality and invite in as many colleagues as you want for free. You can subscribe to the paid modules to expand the value of your subscription. Further, if you choose to upgrade, you and your team will also access the features in the mobile app.

With the Voyage Calculations module in ShipIntel, you can save hours each day doing pre-voyage calculations. Quickly make pre-calcs for a list of vessels and cargoes and set a TCE target and find the freight rate. Add cargoes or vessels and ShipIntel auto-calculate. For tankers, you can calculate round voyages and compare for a fleet of vessels. Works for dry cargo, tankers, and LPG but it might also be useful for chemicals and LNG vessels. In this module, you and your team, can:

  • Quickly make pre-calcs for a list of vessels and cargoes and compare their TCE, or you can set the TCE and ShipIntel will calculate the freight you need.

  • Build a cargo and engagement library so everyone in the team has up-to-date access to available cargoes.

  • New voyage calculations are done automatically when you add vessels or cargoes.

  • When you have decided which cargo or vessel you prefer to start negotiating; click the “Create offer” button and a pre-defined email will be filled in.
