When multiple vessel segments and sub-segments are displayed on the map, distinguishing between them can be challenging. To simplify this, ShipIntel allows you to change the color of vessel segments easily. With 16 colors to choose from, you can customize the map for better visibility and clearer organization.
Change the Color of Vessel Segments
Step 1
Ensure your screen displays the ShipIntel map. Open the vessel segment menu by tapping the vessel icon in the upper-right corner, just below the search bar. The menu will appear, listing all 10 vessel segments available in ShipIntel.
Step 2
Tap the vessel segment you want to modify. A list of sub-segments within that segment will appear, and you now have two options:
Apply the Same Color to All Sub-Segments: Tap and hold the "All sub-segments" section. A color palette will appear; select your preferred color.
Apply Specific Colors to Each Sub-Segment: Tap and hold each individual sub-segment. A color palette will appear; select your preferred color.
After modifying your segments, the color of the stripe next to each sub-segment will be updated to reflect the new color.
Step 3
You can return to the vessel segment menu and repeat this process for other segments, choosing as many different colors as desired. When you're satisfied with your color selections, close the menu by tapping outside of it or dragging it down. Enjoy your customized, colorful view!
