To better organize the ports you want to keep track of in ShipIntel, you can add them to a port list. Add as many ports as you want to one list and create as many port lists as you need!

How to Create a Port List

1) In the menu in the upper right corner you have to click on "Ports", and choose "lists".

2) When the page opens, click on the button that says "Create a new list".

3) Enter the name of your port list, then click on "Done".

A new pop-up screen should appear.

4) Start adding ports to your new list by clicking on the "Add ports" buttons.

You can search by name, name, or UN/LOCODE. You can also add filters to your search by clicking the "Filters" button in the upper right corner of the search bar.

5) When you are happy with your choices, click on the blue button at the button that says "Done". You have now created a port list.

You can also add filters to your search by clicking the "Filters" button in the search bar's upper right corner.

Note that if you want to select many ports in a row, click on the first one, hold in "Shift" on your keyboard, and then click on the last vessel.

The Structure of a Port List

  • One of the first things you will notice is probably the name of your list. Below the name is displayed the number of ports in the list, the date when the list was created, and the date of the last update on the list.

  • In the upper right corner, you can see four buttons. Reading from the left these are the "View in map", "Notes", "See More" and "Add ports" buttons.

  • Below the information about the port list is the list with all of the ports you have added to your list. When hovering over the name of a port you can see an "X" appear on the right side of the screen. If you click on it, you will remove that port from your list.

When you are done making changes to your vessel list click on the arrow in the upper left corner to return to the "Port Lists" page and create more port lists!
