How to Find & Access Ports in ShipIntel

Learn how to find and access port cards in ShipIntel from search or from locating the port on your ShipIntel map.

In this guide, we will explain how to find and access and manage ports in ShipIntel.

The usage of port cards is quite similar to vessel cards. The main difference is the information you will be provided with.

How to Access a Port Card - Through Search

1) Search for the Port:

  • Click on "Search" from the left-side menu. This will open a pop-up window where you can search for ports

  • Select "Ports" from the tabs.

  • Search for your port of interest by typing or by using filters.

2) Select the Port:

Click on the port in the search results. This will open open the detailed port information card.


How to Access a Port Card - Hover & Click

1) Locate the Port on the map:

Find your port on the map.

2) Hover Over the Port Icon:

Hovering over the port icon will display a minimized port info card. This includes, among other things, the port's flag, weather, and the number of vessels in port.

3) Click the Port Icon:

Clicking on the port icon will provide for more detailed information card to the left on the screen.

4) Access Detailed Port Information Card:

Click the "Actions" button for extended information and options:

5) Return to the Map:

Click the X button at the upper-left corner to return to the map and the port's location.
