With ShipIntel you can access the location of every vessel and port in the world, at all times! Our search bar allows customers to easily look up the vessel or port they want to learn more about.
How to Search for Vessels or Ports
When showing the ShipIntel Map on your mobile, the search bar can be found at the top of your page.
Step 1:
Click on the search bar and choose whether you want to search for a vessel or a port. Then start typing the name of that vessel/port.
Step 2:
Once you start typing, you will notice that a list of vessels or ports with matching letter/s will start to appear. When you see your chosen vessel/port on the list, click on it. ShipIntel will bring you to the vessel's or port's position, showing a closed information card at the bottom of the screen.
To access more information about the vessel/port,
click on the information card and choose "See more".
Good to know
You can search for vessels by entering their IMO or MMSI number, whereas for ports UN/Locode can be also used.
To explore more ports in a specific country, simply select the ports option and enter the country name.
If you can not see the vessel or port you are searching for, type in more letters to narrow your search.
