A Maritime CRM System
ShipIntel's Maritime Contact Book is a great maritime CRM system tailored to the maritime industry. Made by maritime professionals, it is designed for shipping professionals, and (any type of) company involved in maritime business.
Types of Maritime Contacts
In ShipIntel's Maritime Contact Book Feature, you can manage and keep track of Companies, individual contacts linked to a company or individual contacts from your individual contacts.
Companies
The "Companies" tab, gives you an overview of the companies you have added to your ShipIntel Contact Book. Easily comprehensible, it presents a list of your companies together with the company type, email and telephone number, as seen below.
Adding a Company
When adding a new company, you can either add the it by filling in the company details manually or bulk uploading.
Bulk Uploading
Click on Bulk Upload: Click on the "Bulk upload" button, located in the top-right corner of the Companies tab.
Add or Drag & Drop: Drag and drop your companies - or click to add.
To get contacts file, you can either use a
Mail Client (e.g. Outlook): Export your companies as a .CSV or .VCF file.
vCard: Select multiple vCards and start importing.
Note: Supported formats when bulk uploading are .CSV, and .VCF.
Adding manually
Click on Add Company: Use the "add company" button in the upper right corner. This will open a small popup to the left on your ShipIntel screen.
Add Company Information: Fill in the requested information and press the "create" button.
You can add contacts and vessels to the company after it has been created.
Company Details, Contacts, Vessels and Ports
From the list of companies, you can click on a desired company, to see more details on a specific company, such as Company Contacts, Company Vessels and Company Ports.
Adding Contacts, Vessels and Ports
From the Company Details page, you can also add new contacts, attach vessels either from a vessel list or search, or connect a port from one of your port lists or by searching for the port.
Clicking on the three dots lets you edit the entire company / company details.
View the Company Vessels on the Map
After adding a vessel, click on the "View in map" button in the top-right corner to see all the company-connected vessels on the map, giving you a spacial awareness of their fleet.
Company Contacts
All contacts currently assigned to the company are listed here, with the maritime contact's name, company role, phone and email.
Click on the three dots to the far right to: Edit contact details, Move the contact to another company (You can only select from companies you have already created), Remove the contact from the company, or Delete the contact.
Company Vessels
For vessels linked or connected to the company, the Company Vessels overview gives you three (four) different options: Technical Details, Live AIS Data, Port Calls (Historical AIS Data) and View Vessels in Map - as explained above - for each of the vessels.

Company Ports
The company ports tab, show the various ports you have added and connected to the company along with the port's UN/LOCODE, Port name, Country, and Position.
Contacts
The All contacts tab shows all the contacts you have in your Maritime Contact Book, listed with name, company, role and contact information.
