In this guide, you'll be introduced to ShipIntel's Rotation Map feature, a tool that allows you to visualize maritime activity in an engaging and insightful way. This feature offers a seamless view of vessel movements, providing you with an intelligent perspective on global shipping.

In the map view, you will find three buttons at the lower-right corner of the screen. Above the plus and minus signs, you'll see a third button featuring two arrows. This button provides access to the rotation feature.

Click the button with the two arrows to enable the rotation mode.

You can select the speed at which the map will rotate; choosing between slow, medium or fast rotation.

Click and drag the cursor across the map to explore different angles. For a more immersive experience, consider using the 3D Globe view, which can be activated under "Styles and Layers" in the upper-right corner.

We especially recommend trying our 3D Globe view projection with this feature! The 3D globe view is found under "Styles and layers" in the upper right corner of the map.
