You will be brought to the "Port lists" page in ShipAtlas. This is where you access previous lists and create new ones. Click on the blue button that says "Create a port list", in the upper right corner of your screen to begin!
The first thing you will need to do is decide the name of your list, then click on "Done".
After clicking on the "Done" button you will find yourself inside your new port list.
Start adding vessels to your new list by clicking on the "Add ports" buttons.
A search pop-up will appear on your screen where you can search for the ports you want to add. You can search by name, name, or UN/LOCODE. You can also add filters to your search by clicking the "Filters" button in the upper right corner of the search bar.
After your search is complete, you can select the vessels you want to add by clicking on them. A blue circle will appear next to the ones you select. To unselect, click on the same vessel one more time.
Note that if you want to select many vessels in a row, click on the first one, hold in "Shift" on your keyboard and then click on the last vessel.
When you are happy with your choices, click on the blue button at the button that says "Done". You have now created a vessel list.
The Structure of a Port List
One of the first things you will notice is probably the name of your list. Below the name is the name of the creator, the number of ports, the date when the list was created, and the date of the last update on the list.
In the upper right corner, you can see four buttons. Reading from the left these are the "View in map", "Notes", "See More" and "Add ports" buttons.
Then you have the list of all the ports you have added to your list.
When hovering over the name of a port you can see an "X" appear on the right side of the screen. If you click on it, you will remove that port from your list.
If you click on a port, however, you will open its port card.
When you are done making changes to your vessel list click on the arrow in the upper left corner to return to the "Port Lists" page and create more port lists!
You now know how to create a port list!
