How to Turn On and Off Vessel Notifications – ShipAtlas Web

In this guide, you will learn how to set up and manage notifications for vessels in ShipAtlas.

Stay informed on vessel activity by setting up notifications for the vessels that matter most to you. Choose exactly what you want to be notified about whether it's arrivals, departures, destination changes, or any combination of these.

Turn On Vessel Notifications

Step 1

Open a vessel information card by clicking on a vessel directly on the map or by searching for it in the search bar. Click the Bell icon at the top of the vessel information card.

Step 2

A pop-up will appear with the following notification options:

  • Arrivals

  • Departures

  • Destination changes

Select the notification types you want to receive. You can enable one, several, or all of them.

You can also choose whether you want to receive notifications for all ports or a specific port.

  • To receive notifications for all ports, click Follow.

  • To select a specific port, click + Add, search for the port, and select it before clicking Save. When you are done with the selection, click Follow.

Step 3

A confirmation message will appear and the Bell icon will turn blue, indicating that notifications are now active for the selected vessel.


Turn Off Vessel Notifications

To turn off notifications for a vessel, click the Bell icon on the vessel information card and click Unfollow.
