ShipAtlas has sorted the vessels into different vessel segments and sub-segments. This way you can choose what kinds of vessels you want to view on your map.

How to Add Vessel Segments to Your Map

1) Make sure your screen shows the map page in ShipAtlas.

2) Click on the "Vessel" icon in the upper-right corner of your map

A list of different vessel segments will appear on the right side of your screen.

3) Click on the vessel segment you want to view on your map.

You can add all the sub-segments from a vessel segments or

select specific sub-segments for your map.

How to add all sub-segments:

  • To view every vessel in the "Dry Bulk" segment you have to select all the sub-segments. Click on the "all sub-segments" button on top of the list. Once selected, the button next to it will turn blue.

Note: If you want to add more than one vessel segment to your map go back to the vessel segment menu and repeat the previous steps.

How to add specific sub-segments:

  • If you are not interested in selecting all sub-segments from a vessel segment you can select specific ones by clicking on your prefered options.

Note: You can combine as many sub-segments you want from as many vessel segments as you would like.

  • When you are happy with your choices, close the overview by clicking on the "X" in the left corner of the vessel segment menu or by clicking on the map behind it.
