Obviously, ShipAtlas is all about ships! It's time to learn how to access each ship's information card to get details about a ship's current voyage.

From ship's information card you can obtain information about:

  • Ship's name and segment

  • When the position was updated last time

  • Current voyage (last and next port)

  • Departure date and Estimated time of Arrival (ETA)

In addition to this information, the ship's information card also allows you to set notifications, view its last three port calls and create a route from its current position!

How to Access Ship Information Cards

Step 1:

Search for the ship of your interest by using search bar. Start to write its name, IMO or MMSI number, and once it appears in the search results, click on it.

Step 2:

Once you click on the ship of your interest from the search results, you will be taken to the map. Together with the ship's Live AIS position on map and tracks, you will also be automatically shown ship's information card at the left part of the screen.

Note: On a Premium plan, the "Create route" button changes into an action button. It will still include create route, but now also with "Add vessel to list", "View technical details" and "Locate vessel in map".

Want to see given ship's technical details or other important information? Click on "More details" text-button located to the right of the vessel name shown in the ship information card. You will be redirected to the vessel screen for the ship.

Congratulations! 🎉
