How to Add Vessels to a Vessel List – ShipAtlas Web

In this guide, you will learn how to add vessels to an existing vessel list in ShipAtlas.

Vessel lists help you organize and track vessels of interest. Keep your lists up to date by adding vessels directly from the map or through the sidebar menu.

There are two ways to add vessels to your vessels lists in ShipAtlas, either directly from the ShipAtlas map or through the vessel list page.

Add Vessels from the Map

Step 1

Open a vessel information card by clicking on a vessel directly on the map or by searching for it in the search bar.

Step 2

Click the Actions button at the top of the vessel information card and select Add Vessel to List. Click the vessel list you want to add the vessel to.

💡 Tip: You can add the same vessel to multiple vessel lists by repeating the process.


Add Vessels from the Sidebar Menu

Step 1

Click Vessel Lists in the sidebar menu and select the vessel list you want to update.

Step 2

Click Add Vessels and search for the vessel by name, IMO, or MMSI number.

💡 Tip: You can also filters to narrow down your search results and find specific vessels. Read more about filters here.

Step 3

Click on the vessel you want to add. A blue checkmark will appear to confirm your selection.

Click Add vessels to save your selection and add the vessels to the list.
