The Main Buttons in ShipAtlas
This guide gives you a quick overview of the main buttons so you can easily search for vessels and ports, find vessels near your location, customize the map, create vessel lists, and manage your settings.
Search for vessels and ports
Use the Search bar at the top of the map to quickly find ships or ports.
Tap the search bar and start typing the vessel name, IMO, MMSI, or port name.

Select vessel segments
Tap the Vessel icon located below the search bar on the right side of the screen.
This allows you to choose which vessel segments appear on the map.

View ports visited by vessel segments
Tap the Anchor icon below the search bar.
This allows you to display ports visited by specific vessel segments on the map.

See vessels near your location
Tap the Location icon below the search bar on the left side of the screen.
The map zooms in on your current location, showing nearby vessels.
Zoom out to see all vessels in the world.
PREMIUM: On the free and standard plans, nearby vessels are shown by segment only. Vessel information are exclusive to the Premium plan.

Customize the map
Tap the Brush icon below the search bar.
Here you can change the map style and add map layers to your map.

Access the map
Tap the Globe icon in the bottom menu to return to the map view at any time.
Manage vessel lists and notifications
Tap the Folder icon in the bottom menu.
Here you can:
Create and manage vessel lists
View notifications
Access photos
Manage your unlocked ships (Standard Plan)
Access help and your profile
Tap the Person icon in the bottom menu.
Here you can:
Access help and guides
Manage your profile settings
Upgrade your plan
