ShipAtlas sea route calculator allows you to not only create route from ships' live AIS position to any port of your choice, but also from port to port. Therefore, in this guide, we will show how you can do it.
Step 1:
Search for the port you want to create your route from using the search bar. Select the "Ports" option to see the search results, type the port's name, and then click on it when it appears in the search results.
Step 2:
After selecting port from your search results, ShipAtlas will navigate to the port's location in the map, and the port information card will appear at the bottom of your screen.
To create a sea route from the given port to any other port, click the blue button with the "Route" icon on it.
Step 3:
After clicking the blue button with the "Route" icon, a new screen will appear where you can add your desired port of destination.
Click on the "+Add port" button and search for the port by typing its name or LOCODE. Once the port appears in the search results, click on it to add it as a destination point for the route.
Step 4:
You can add multiple ports within your route and adjust the speed, if needed, to see how it affects the ETA and other voyage details. Once everything is set, click "Show route" to view the route and details such as ETA, distance to the destination, days at sea, and more.
Congratulations! π
