In this guide, we will explain how you delete your ShipAtlas Account.

Want to delete your user in ShipAtlas? We are sad to see you go, but as always we prioritize our customer support. So this guide will help you to delete your account.

P.S. Remember that all of your data will be lost, if you have any questions before deleting your account contact our customer support chat here or send us an email at post@maritimeoptima.com.


Step 1 & 2:

1) Go to "My Profile" in ShipAtlas and click on "My account".

2) You will be brought to the page, where you can see the "Delete Your Account" button at the bottom of your screen. If you are sure you want to delete your account click on it.

Step 3 & 4:

3) After clicking on "Delete Your Account" button you will be brought to the page where you get some important information about the deletion process. It is crucial that you read this information in order to understand the consequences and terms of the deletion of your account, especially for those who have a paid subscription to ShipAtlas. If you still want to delete your account after reading this information, click "Continue".

4) Before permanently deleting your account, you are offered a chance to give us your feedback on our product. This step is entirely optional, but we would as always appreciate any feedback to help us grow our product in the future.😊 When you are ready to move forward with the deletion process, click "Continue".

Step 5:

This is the final step of your deletion process. After this you will lose all your data with no option to restore the account later. It is important that you are completely sure of your decision as there is no room for regret after this step.

If you do want to change your mind regarding the deletion you can click on the "Cancel" button and return safely to the "My Profile" overview in ShipAtlas.

If you, however, are sure about your choice and want to permanently delete your ShipAtlas account click on "Delete Account". After clicking on "Delete account" button you will be logged out of ShipAtlas app and will see a confirmation message which states that your account has successfully been deleted.
