How to Add and Combine Port Segments in Your Map

In this guide, we will show you how to add and combine port segments to your map.

If you click on the button with "Anchor" icon located in the upper-right corner of ShipAtlas map, you will open the port segment menu. This menu will show you an overview of the three different port segments you can choose among.

These segments are:


How to Add the "Dynamic Selection" Segment to Your Map

Steps to take:

1) Ensure that you have vessels selected and displayed on the map and open the port segment menu by clicking on the "Anchor" icon.

2) Click on "Dynamic selection".

3) Close the port menu by clicking on the "X" in the upper left corner of the menu or clicking on the map behind it.

Note that when a port segment is selected, a blue circle with a checkmark appears next to it.

To remove the dynamic selection segment from the map, you will need to open the port segment menu and click on it one more time. The blue button will turn grey when the segment is unselected.


How to Show the "All Bunker Ports" Segment on Your Map

Steps to take:

1) Ensure that you have vessels selected and displayed on the map and open the port segment menu by clicking on the "Anchor" icon.

2) Click on "All bunker ports".

3) Close the port menu by clicking on the "X" in the upper left corner of the menu or clicking on the map behind it.

Note: When a port segment is selected, a blue circle with a checkmark appears next to it.

To remove the "All bunker ports" segment from the map, you will need to open the port segment menu and click on it one more time. The blue button will turn grey when the segment is unselected.


How to Add the "Specific Segments" to Your Map

Steps to take:

1) Ensure that you have vessels selected and displayed on the map and open the port segment menu by clicking on the "Anchor" icon.

2) Click on "Specific segments".

3) Now choose a port segment of your interest by clicking on it. Remember, you can select multiple specific segment ports at once.

If you wish to see all segments then click on "Show All Segments".

4) Close the port menu by clicking on the "X" in the upper left corner of the menu or clicking on the map behind it, and enjoy your specific segment ports on the map!

Note: When a port segment is selected, a blue circle with a checkmark appears next to it.

To remove the "Specific" segment from the map, you will need to open the port segment menu, then open the "Specific segment" and click on the port segments you wish to remove one more time. The blue button will turn grey when the segment is unselected.


How to Combine the Different Port Segments on Your Map

Sometimes you may want to combine the different port segments.

In ShipAtlas, you can combine the "All Bunker Ports" segment with one of the other two. The ones that can not be combined in our map are the "Dynamic Selection" segment and the "Specific Segments" segment.
