ShipAtlas has made it easy for our users add photos of ships that you may have spotted either in port or along the horizon. In this guide you can learn how to do it, so let's get started!🎉

To access photos of ships that you have taken previously is very easy. To do so please follow instructions provided below.

To view previously taken photos, begin by tapping the folder icon on the bottom menu of your screen. This will direct you to the "My Resources" page. Next, select "Photos." You will then see a list of all the ships with added images. Click on the ship you're interested in to view all the photos associated with it.

ShipAtlas is a hub for ship enthusiasts, shipspotters, and anyone with an interest in ships. If you've accumulated some amazing photos over time but are tired of having them clutter your phone gallery, there's an easy solution. Simply upload these photos on ShipAtlas mobile app, under the corresponding ships, to keep them safe and well-organized. Here's how you can do it:

To add images, first search for the ship you want to add a photo of and click on it when it appears in the search results. Then, open the full information card by selecting the "See more" button.

After clicking the "See more" button, swipe the blue button menu to the left until you find the "Add Images" button, and then click on it.

After selecting "Add images," choose the "Gallery" option to upload pictures from your phone's photo gallery to the corresponding ship. Next, select the picture you wish to upload and proceed to add it to the ship.

After the picture is uploaded, you will be redirected to the full information card. To view the newly added photo, swipe up until you reach the "My recent photos" section, where you will find the photo you just uploaded.

Our app allows you to easily take photos of ships, whether they’re just appearing on the horizon or docked at port. Here’s how you can effortlessly capture and manage your ship photos using ShipAtlas:

To photograph a ship, first locate it on the map if you don't know its name, or use the search option if you do. After clicking on the ship (either on the map or from search results), an information card will appear at the bottom of your screen.

Click the blue button with the camera icon to quickly take a photo. Capture your image, confirm it, and it will be uploaded under the selected ship.

To delete previously taken photos, begin by tapping the folder icon on the bottom menu of your screen. This will direct you to the "My Resources" page. Next, select "Photos." You will then see a list of all the ships with added images.

Click on the ship you're interested in to view all the taken photos. Then press and hold on the photo you wish to delete, after that a tab will show up with "Delete" button. Click on "Delete" to remove the photo.
