The usage of port cards is quite similar to vessel cards.

The main difference is the information you will be provided with.

How to Access the Port Cards

Step 1

To view a port card, simply click on the port you are interested in on the map or use the search bar to find a specific port.

The port card will appear at the bottom of the screen.

Notice the three icons at the bottom of the vessel card.

Reading from the left you can already now learn about the temperature in the location of the port, how many vessels are in port, and whether or not bunkering is available in port.

Step 2

To access more information, click on the port card.

The card will immediately expand with more information than before, and if you click on "See More Information" you can expand it even further and access even more detailed information about the port.

Step 3

Notice the notification button on the right upper corner of the port card.

This button allows you to get notified when a vessel arrives at the port or leaves it. Sounds interesting? To turn on the notification, simply click the button.

Note that, the button will turn blue when notifications are turned on.

The Blue Icons

Notice the blue icons that appear in the first expansion of your port card.

These icons work as shortcuts for different features in ShipAtlas.

You can read more about them in one of our other guides in the "Navigation" section.
