When a lot of different ship segments are displayed on a map it is hard to separate them. Therefore, we have made it possible to change the color of the ship segments displayed on the map easily. In this guide you can learn how to do it!

Step 1:

Suppose you wish to change the ship icon color displayed on the map to a different color.

To do that, first, make sure your screen shows the map page in ShipAtlas, then click on the button with a ship icon under the search bar. A list of different ship segments will appear.

As an example, we have currently enabled the container ship segment on the map, with the icon currently displayed in red. Suppose we wish to change this color to neon blue.

Step 2:

To change the color of the ship segment, press on the container segments name and hold for a bit. Then the color pallet will open up (like shown in the screenshot on the left).

Proceed to select the color of your choice. In our example, we will choose neon blue.

Step 3:

Once you have selected the new color, the color palette will close automatically, and you will return to the ship segment menu. There, you can observe that the color next to the segment's icon has changed, indicating that the color change was successful.

Now, you can close the ship segment menu and see your selected ship segment on the map in its new colors!

Congratulations! πŸŽ‰
