Smart voyage pre-calculations for quicker and more qualified chartering decisions

Working in the chartering department includes many hours of reading emails, doing voyage calculations, comparing the TCE for different vessels vs. the market trends and giving out offers via email.

Instead of spending hours on manually adding and punching, and doing voyage calculations one by one, you can calculate the TCE and carbon emission for a group of cargoes and vessels, and compare their TCE on different alternative voyages and filter the TCEs results in seconds.

By using the Smart voyage pre-calculations, you will save hours each day running voyage pre-calculations and sending offers.

In Maritime Optima Pro you can do voyage pre-calculations for dry cargo vessels, tankers and LPG. We will continue developing the pre-calculations based on feedback from our users, so later you can also do voyage calculations for chemical vessels and LNG and we will offer different type of voyage calculations.

You can run voyage pre-calculations from many places in Maritime Optima Pro:

  • When you click on a vessel in the map

  • Create list of external vessel and do pre-calculations for all these vessels

  • Create a position list and do pre-calculations for all these vessels

  • From your My fleet page you can do pre-calculations for all your vessels

  • From your workspace you can do voyage calculations for your Team fleet. Add external vessels if you want to bench mark your fleet with external vessels, or you considering TC in a (some) vessels.
