In this article, we will explain how to change your subscription in ShipAtlas.

This guide is meant for all users who started their subscription through the ShipAtlas Web version.

If you started your subscription in the mobile version of ShipAtlas you will have to change your subscription plan through there. You can learn more about how to do it HERE.


Whether you want to upgrade or downgrade, it is an easy fix in ShipAtlas.

So let's get started!


How to Change Your Subscription Plan

Step 1:

Navigate to the "My Profile" page in ShipAtlas by clicking on your icon at the bottom of the ShipAtlas menu.

Under your profile, you'll see a section called "Your Plan" followed by the name of your current subscription plan. Click on the blue "Manage subscription" button next to it.

ShipAtlas will bring you to a billing page in Stripe.

Step 2:

To change your current subscription, click on the "Update Plan" button in Stripe.

Adjust your subscription according to your needs. You can change both the subscription plan and the length of the billing cycle in Stripe. When you are done, click "Continue".

In the example below, we are showing an upgrade from a one-year subscription in the Standard Plan to a one-year subscription in the Premium Plan.

Step 3:

After clicking "Continue", confirm your choice to make an upgrade. You will be brought back to the start page in Stripe where you get an overview of your new subscription plan.

Return to ShipAtlas by clicking on "Return to Maritime Optima AS" on the left side of your screen, and enjoy your new changes!
