There are multiple ways how to unlock up to 5 ships under ShipAtlas Standard plan on mobile; however, the main and easiest way how to do it is through "Unlocked Ships" screen. Let's dive in on how you can unlock ships of interest under your ShipAtlas Standard plan on ShipAtlas mobile application!

Step 1 & 2:

Go to "My resources" screen by clicking on the button with "Folder" on it, located at the bottom of your screen. Then proceed by clicking on "Unlocked ships" option, presented at the upper part of your screen.

Step 3:

After selecting the "Unlocked ships" option, a new screen will appear with five slots available for unlocking ships. To begin tracking and access information about a ship of your choice, click on an available slot labeled "Add a vessel."

Step 4:

After clicking on an available slot, enter the ship's name or its IMO or MMSI number in the search field and select the desired ship from the results. A pop-up confirmation message will then appear. To unlock the ship, click the "Confirm" button.

Step 5:

After you have confirmed that you want to unlock the desired ship, it will be shown under "Unlocked ships" section.

Step 6:

After you have unlocked the ship, to access its Live AIS position and other information, simply click on the slot with the ships name on it, and it will take you straight to the map.

To better distinguish your unlocked ships on the map, they will always be displayed with a star icon as long as they remain unlocked.

Step 7:

Once you have unlocked one ship, you can also unlock additional ones by repeating the steps mentioned above in this guide.
