Cancel Your Subscription Plan - ShipAtlas Web

In this article, we will explain how to cancel or change your subscription in ShipAtlas.

This guide is meant for all users who started their subscription through the ShipAtlas web version.

If you started your subscription in the ShipAtlas app, you will also have to cancel it there. You can learn more about how to do it HERE.


How to Cancel Your Subscription Plan

Step 1:

Open ShipAtlas and go to "My Profile" by clicking on your icon in the left corner at the bottom of your screen.

Step 2:

Under your profile, you'll see a section called "Your Plan" followed by the name of your current subscription plan. Click on the blue "Manage subscription" button next to it.

ShipAtlas will bring you to a billing page in Stripe.

Step 3:

To cancel your current subscription, click on the "Cancel Plan" button in Stripe.

To make sure you are not making a mistake, Stripe will ask you to confirm your cancellation by clicking on a similar button that once again says "Cancel plan".

Note: On this page, Stripe will tell you when your current billing period will end. Usually, the date of your current billing period does not match the date of your cancellation. Therefore, it is normal to continue having access to all the paid features until your last subscription payment expires.

Step 4:

When canceling your plan, ShipAtlas will ask for the reason for your cancellation. If you have the time, we would appreciate your feedback to help improve our product. Simply click on the reason that best fits your situation and/or add additional feedback. Then, click "Submit." You can also skip this part by clicking the "No thanks" button.

Step 5:

After your cancellation, you will be brought back to Stripe where you get an overview of your last billing period.

If you regret your choice you can always click on "Renew plan" to restore your previous subscription.

If your last subscription wasn't a good fit, you can click on "Update plan" to try a different subscription.

When you are happy with your choices, return to ShipAtlas by clicking on "Return to Maritime Optima AS" on the left side of your screen.


Now you know how to cancel or change your subscription plan!
