How to Navigate in ShipAtlas - The Map Layer Menu Functions

In this guide, you will learn how to navigate in our product by using the map layer menu at the top-right corner of ShipAtlas app.

The Map Layer Menu

If you take a look at your ShipAtlas map you will notice four more icons at the upper right corner of your map. Reading from the left you can access:


Vessels and vessel sub-segments

The ShipAtlas interface includes a "Vessels" button, which provides access to vessel-related features. Here, you can find and select vessel segments and their corresponding sub-segments. Additionally, you can view your previously created vessel lists or generate new ones as needed.

Ports and their segments

Within the ShipAtlas interface, you can access port-related features by clicking the "Ports" button. Here, you can select and view ports and their corresponding segments. Additionally, you can access your previously created port lists or generate new ones for your convenience.

Map Styles and Layers

In the ShipAtlas app, you can access a range of map customization options through the "Styles and Layers" button. Here, you can apply various map styles and choose from 10 different layers to best suit your needs.

Weather Layers

In the ShipAtlas app, you can access a range of weather forecasting options through the "Weather" button. Here, you can apply and view different weather layers to your map, including wind patterns, wave heights, ocean currents, and precipitation levels.
