Port information cards give you a quick overview of a port's current activity and key details. You can access them by clicking on a port directly on the map, or by using the search bar.
Access and Manage Port Information Cards
Step 1
Search for the port you are looking for by typing its name or LOCODE in the search bar, or by enabling ports on the map and clicking directly on a port icon.
💡 Tip: Remember to switch from vessels to ports in the search results.
Step 2
ShipAtlas will navigate to the port's location on the map and display the port information card on the left side of your screen, showing details such as:
Local time at the port
Current weather conditions
Number of vessels currently in port, organised by vessel segment
At the top of the card you will find two shortcuts.
Click the Locate icon to center the map on the port
Click Create Route to plan a sea route from the port.
Step 3
Select More Details to open the full port information card.
The Full Port information Card Includes:
Total number of vessels and types of vessel segments currently in port and
Vessels in Port: A full list of vessels with their name, segment and arrival time
Weather: Current and forecasted weather conditions at the port
Tidal Water: Tide levels at the port
Photos and Images: Your uploaded photos of the port
Incidents: Access to latest maritime incidents linked to the port
At the top of the full card you will find two shortcuts. Click Route from Port to create a sea route from the port, or click View in Map to center the map on the port's location.
