Welcome to our guide on accessing and managing Port Information Cards in the ShipAtlas web app. In this guide, you'll learn how to easily navigate and utilize the Port Information Cards feature, enabling you to view a bit more detailed information about ships in port, weather at the port and more.

You can always view port information cards by enabling ports on the map, hovering your cursor over a port icon, and clicking on it. However, this guide will demonstrate how to access port information cards using our search function.

How to Access Port Information Card

Step 1:

Search for the desired port by writing its name or LOCODE, then to obtain port in your search results switch from ships section to ports. Then proceed to click on the port name in the search results to access port information card.

Step 2:

After clicking on your chosen port in the search results, ShipAtlas will navigate you to the port's location on the map and display a basic port information card on the left side of your screen. This card will show details such as the number of ships currently in the port and the weather conditions.

For more detailed information, click the blue "Actions" button and select "View port details."

How to Manage Port Information Card

In more detailed port information card you can find more details about the port such as ships currently in port, daily weather forcast, tide levels in the port and create a sea route from the given port to another port.
