Customizing segment colors makes it easier to distinguish between different vessel types on the map. It can also improve visibility depending on the map style you are using.
Change the Color of Your Vessel Segments
Step 1
Make sure you are on the map view in ShipAtlas. Click the Vessel icon below the search bar to open the vessel segments menu.
A list of available vessel segments will appear.
Step 2
Hover over the segment you want to change and click the Color button. The color palette will open.
Select your preferred color from the palette. It will close automatically and the segment icon will update to show your new color.
Step 3
Close the vessel segments menu to return to the map. Your selected vessel segment will now appear in its new color.
💡 Tip: Repeat the process for any other segments you want to update.
