How to Manage your Profile Settings

Shows maritime professionals how to edit their account details, manage their team, and edit their settings.

How to Edit Your Account Details

Click on the button with an icon of a person in the main menu

at the bottom of your screen.

This will bring you to the "My profile" page in the app.

On this side, five sections are shown;

  • "My Account"

  • "Your Team"

  • "Settings"

  • "Help"

  • "About"

For now, click on "My Account" and then "Account Details".

To edit your account details, click on the section you want to change or add to.

  • The first half of the page shows your account details where you can edit or add your name, phone number, and bio.

  • The second half is where you find the details about your company.

    In this section, you can edit your company's name, the type of your company

    (a description of what type of services your company performs) and what your position is in the company.

When you are done editing click on the "Update" button to save the changes you have made.

How to Manage Your Team

Go back to the "My Profile" page in ShipIntel, then click on the "Your Team" section.

In this section you can switch between teams that you belong to. To make administrative changes to the team you will have to log on to your ShipIntel on web as this is a web only feature.

How to Edit Your Settings

Go back to the "My Profile" page in ShipIntel, and click on the "Settings" section.

On this page, you can change the theme of the colours in the app, turn off/on your location, manage your notifications and arrange your lists.

Just click on the section you want to edit and make the changes you want.

Note that the notification button automatically will bring you to your notification settings on your mobile.
