ShipAtlas has sorted the vessels into different vessel segments and sub-segments. The next three guides will show you a way how you can choose and remove different kinds of vessels on/from your map.

How to Add Vessel Segments to Your Map

Step 1

Make sure your screen shows the map page in ShipAtlas.

1) Click on the button with a vessel icon under the search bar.

A list of different vessel segments will appear.

Step 2

1) Click on the vessel segment you want to view on your map.

In this example, we are going to click on "Dry Bulk".

2) To see all Dry Bulk vessels select the "All Sub-Segments" button at the top of the list.

Note that when a sub-segment is chosen, a blue circle with a checkmark will appear next to them.

Step 3

1) Return to the overview of the vessel segments by clicking on the arrow in the upper left corner.

2) If you are happy with your choices, close the overview by dragging it down or clicking on the map above it.

You can now see a number on the right side of the "Dry Bulk" segment.

This number shows how many sub-segments you have chosen within the "Dry Bulk" segment.

If you want to add more vessel segments to your map, choose another one and repeat the previous steps.
