In our How to Navigate in ShipAtlas guide, we showed you a button with a paintbrush icon near the upper right corner of your map. This button allows you to change your map style and/or add layers to your map. Now it is time to learn more about what it can offer to you!

Make sure your screen shows the map page in ShipAtlas.

1) Click on the button with a paintbrush icon under the search bar.

The map-style pop-up will appear on your screen.

2) Choose the map style you prefer by clicking on it.

You will know your map style is changed by the blue highlight that will appear on the map style you choose.

3) Once the map style has been chosen close the pop-up by dragging it down or clicking above it.
