A Guide to the Actions Menu in ShipAtlas – ShipAtlas

In this guide, you will learn about the shortcut buttons available in vessel and port information cards in ShipAtlas, and what each of them does.

When you click on a vessel or port on the map, an information card appears.

For ports, you will find a Locate icon and a Create Route button. For vessels, you will find a Bell icon and an Actions button at the top of the card.

These buttons act as shortcuts to important features in ShipAtlas.

Actions Menu for Vessels

The Bell Icon

Click the Bell icon next to the actions menu to set up notifications for that vessel. Choose your preferred notification types, select all ports or a specific port, and click Follow.

Locate in Map

Centers the map on the vessel's current live position.

Create Route

Opens the sea route calculator with the selected vessel as the starting point.

Add Vessel to List

Opens your vessel lists so you can add the vessel to an existing list or create a new one.

View Vessel Details

Opens the full vessel information card with detailed vessel data.


Shortcuts for Ports

When clicking on a port, the following shortcuts are available at the top of the port information card.

Locate in Map

Centers the map on the port's position.

Create Route

Opens the sea route calculator with the selected port as the starting point.
