If you forget your password, you can quickly create a new one and regain access to your account.
Note: This guide applies only to users who sign in with email and password. If you use SSO (Google, Apple, Microsoft, or LinkedIn), you must reset your password through that provider.
Reset or create a new password
Step 1
Tap the Person icon in the bottom menu to open My Profile.
Then, tap My Account and select Log out.
Step 2
Tap Sign in.
Under the email sign-in section, tap Forgot Password?
Step 3
Enter your email address and tap Send Me My Link.
You will see a confirmation message that the email has been sent.
Step 4
Open your email and look for the message titled
“Reset password for ShipAtlas by Maritime Optima.”
Tap Reset password in the email.
Tip: If you do not see it, check your Spam or Promotions folder.
Step 5
Enter your new password and confirm it.
Tap Change password.
You will be returned to the app and logged in with your new password.
Note: The next time you log in, make sure to use your new password.
You are now ready to reset your password and access your account in ShipAtlas.
