Create a Sea Route

Step 1

Find and select the port directly on the map or by using the search bar.

💡Tip: You can search for a port by name or LOCODE.

The port information card will be shown at the bottom of the screen.

Tap the Route icon in the row of blue buttons.

Step 2

Select + Add port and search for the destination port by entering its name or LOCODE. Tap the port to add it as a destination.

Step 3

Add more ports if needed, and drag the ports to reorder them according to your preference.

You can also adjust the speed of the vessel to see how it affects the route.

⚠️ Note: If you do not change the speed settings, ShipAtlas will use a default speed.

Step 4

When you are happy with your selection, tap Show route.

Step 5

Drag the menu up to view details such as:

  • ETA

  • Distance

  • Days at sea

💡Tip: Tap the blue ⓘ icons to learn more about any of the details shown.
