How to Access and Manage Port Information Cards – ShipAtlas Mobile

In this guide, you will learn how to access and use port information cards in ShipAtlas.

Port information cards give you an overview of port activity, vessels in port, and weather conditions.


Access a port information card

Step 1

Select a port directly on the map, or search for it using the search bar. Remember to switch from vessels to ports in the search results, then tap the port to select it.

Search by port name or LOCODE.

Step 2

The port information card will appear at the bottom of the screen.

Here you can see basic details such as:

  • Number of vessels currently in port

  • Weather conditions

  • The blue button menu

The card will also show recent maritime incidents, if any have been reported.

Tap Latest Incidents to stay updated on the latest maritime incidents from the port.


Explore port details

Step 1

Access a port information card, and tap See more to open the full information card.

Step 2

In the full port information card, scroll to explore additional sections such as:

  • Vessels currently in port

  • Daily weather forecast

  • Tide levels

  • Photo gallery

Tap View more or See all in any section to see more detailed information.

You can also access the blue button menu and all maritime incidents.


You are now ready to access and explore port information cards in ShipAtlas.
