Create a Sea Route

Step 1

Find and select the vessel directly on the map or by using the search bar. The vessel information card will be shown at the bottom of the screen.

Tap the Route icon in the row of blue buttons, to open the sea route calculator.

Step 2

Tap + Add port and search for a port by entering its name or LOCODE.

Select the port to add it as a destination.

Step 3

Add more ports if needed, and drag the vessels to reorder them according to your preference.

You can also adjust the speed of the vessel to see how it affects the route.

⚠️ Note: If you do not change the speed settings, ShipAtlas will use a default speed for time calculations.

When you are happy with your selection, tap Show route.

Step 4

Drag the menu up to view details such as:

  • ETA

  • Distance to destination

  • Days at sea

💡 Tip: Tap the blue ⓘ icons to learn more about any of the details shown.
