Download ShipAtlas
To start using ShipAtlas, first download the app on your mobile device.
The app is free and easy to install.
Step 1
Open the App Store or Google Play Store on your mobile device.
Search for ShipAtlas. Select the ShipAtlas app from the search results.
Step 2
Tap Get or Install and follow the instructions on your device.
When the download is complete, open the ShipAtlas app.
Register a ShipAtlas Account
Registering on ShipAtlas mobile app is straightforward and quick.
Step 1: Create Account
When you open the ShipAtlas app for the first time, you will see the Sign in screen.
To create a new account, tap Create account.
Step 2: Choose registration
Choose one of the following options:
Sign up with Google
Sign up with Apple
Register using your email address
Tip: Signing up with Google or Apple may be the quickest option since you can use your existing login details.
Tap the option best suited for you to read step 3.
Step 3: Registering with Your Personal Email

Enter your email address and create a password.
Confirm your password by repeating it.
Tap Create account.
Tip: Tap the eye icon to show or hide your password while typing.
Check your email inbox for the verification email from ShipAtlas.
Open the email and tap the verification link.
Tip: If you cannot find the email, check your Spam or Promotions folder.
After verification, you will automatically be redirected to the ShipAtlas introduction screen.
Step 3: Registering with Google or Apple

Tap Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple.
Follow the login steps provided by your selected provider.
After signing in successfully, you will be redirected to the ShipAtlas introduction screen.
Step 4: Complete Your Profile
Complete your profile by selecting your preferences.
All your preferences can be changed later in the app.
Select your preferred map style (Satellite, Dark, or Light).
Select your user type. If none of the options match your role, choose Other.
Tip: Selecting a user type helps tailor your ShipAtlas experience.
Enter your first and last name.
Tap Ready to go to finish the setup.
Scroll through the tutorial and get ready to track vessels in ShipAtlas.
You are now ready to start using ShipAtlas.
